| Brief Description of Services Provided: | Through a Harm Reduction model, the SAILL program assists seniors (60 & over) and their families with problems of alcohol and/or medication misuse. Services include assessment and treatment, case management, counseling (individual and family support), psycho-educational and alumni groups, social support luncheons, and medical consultation as needed. |

| Referral Process: | A family physician, Homecare, hospital inpatient unit, or a community agency can contact "One Line Referral (OLR) at 267-2991 or Seniors' Health Outpatient Clinic at 943-3453. |

| Restrictions or Exclusions Criteria: | 1) Must not be a Long Term Care resident. 2) Primary addiction must not be gambling or street drugs. 3) Must be cognitively able to integrate information. |
