Brief Description of Services Provided:

The Calgary Eating Disorder Program is one program that is located at three sites within the Calgary Health Region.  The outpatient services are located at the Richmond Road Diagnostic & Treatment Centre (RRDTC).  The day treatment services are located at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, and the inpatient beds are located at the Foothills Medical Centre.

Inpatient and day treatment services are hospital based on an acute care site.  For those patients accessing day treatment services, they can access a host home for additional support.  Outpatient services are located in a community based treatment centre.

Special Populations:Patients seen at the CEDP are moderate to severe, and are diagnosed with either Anorexia, Bulimia Nervosa or Eating Disorder NOS as outlined in the DSM.
Referral Process:Referral from family physician is mandatory
