|Brief Description of Services Provided:|
Provides individual, group and family counselling for the general public, individuals and families. Offers specialized services for adolescents. Offers programs designed to increase understanding and awareness of issues related to alcohol, tobacco, other drugs and gambling. Employs and teaches strategies focused on increasing clients' ability to successfully handle life situations. Creates partnerships with local groups, agencies, schools and employers to support projects aimed at mobilizing communities to prevent and address alcohol, tobacco, other drug and gambling issues. Provides training and consultation to agencies, businesses, community groups and professionals. Distributes educational materials such as pamphlets, books, and videos. These resources address a wide range of topics related to preventing and treating alcohol, tobacco, other drug and gambling problems. Offers program packages developed by AADAC to assist schools, agencies, employers and other groups.
Also provides services for Banff and Lake Louise.
